The Great Shoominion Unionization of 2024
This is a slice of the history of our great shoonation. Perhaps one of the most important ones, a moment that defined the rights of Shoominions ever since. On October the 22nd, 2024, our leader Otako would file the first draft of what is now known as the "Formal Petition for Unionization of Shoominions". However, unlike the revolutionary work of the founding fathers, this document was not discussed by intellectual groups, stowing away in secret cafes. No, this was discussed in the open, right under the domain of Shoomimi herself.
Though Shoominions schemed often, and Shoomimi tried to scheme back in revenge, Shoominions often managed to outscheme her. This applied here as well, managing to plot right under her nose. Though as clever as their plotting might have been, it could have all been for naught. The one deciding the faith of their Union would have to be Shoomimi herself. So Otako, armed with nothing but a computer, a pen and just enough Sqwiddy Ink(Patent Pending), started negotiations with the Shoominions to determine the protections to be outlined in the petition for unionization. Just 2 days later, after countless debates on best approaches, on October 24th 2024 the final draft, a copy of which is attached, is produced.
Amongst the Shoominions, this produced some excitement. Scheming was at an all time high. Using top-of-the-line Artificial Intelligence tools, Paci, one of the members of the SUC, created 2 songs to celebrate the drafting of the Petition. Alongside the copy of the aforementioned petition, this letter also has enclosed a tape of those songs. Feel free to digitize them and publish them on the archive site as you see fit.
